Session 1: How do you pray in your Elderhood? (June 11) How do you pray in your Elderhood? There are many styles of prayer. There are personal forms of prayer that include standard prayers such as the rosary or devotional prayers, there is honest conversation with God in colloquy, talking with God, listening to God, reading Scriptures, daily inspirational meditations, moments of reflection, seasonal or religious prayer books. There are also communal forms of prayer such as Mass, faith formation sharing, and collective prayer. These prayers occur in many places such as church, at home, on walks through the park or around the neighborhood, beside restful waters, while listening to music, and in other places of sanctuary. What are the styles of prayer most common for you? How do practice connecting with God through prayer in your daily life? Where are those places of sanctuary that fortify your prayer? How do you pray in your Elderhood?
