Session 2: How do you encounter God in your Elderhood? (June 18) How do you encounter God in your Elderhood? There are many ways in which we encounter God. There are times of powerful, rapturous, mystical, and profound union with God; moments that are hard to put into words, but are real. There are experiences of anger, frustration, doubt, abandonment, and fear that challenge our connection with God. There are moments in our lives when we feel deep inner peace, joy, wonder, awe, gratitude, connection with all life, and compassionate love for and from others. How do you describe God in these experiences of encounter? What are these moments of encounter with God for you? What are the feelings you experience during your encounters with God? How do you encounter God in your Elderhood?
